Country star Morgan Wallen captured in Nashville at Eric Church's Boss' for tossing seat: Police




Eleven-time 2023 Announcement Music Grant winning blue grass music entertainer Morgan Wallen was arrested late Sunday at Chief's, the six-story Nashville honky-tonk as of late started by his business accomplice and long-term compatriot Eric Church.


Wallen has been accused of three counts of reckless danger and one count of disorderly lead.


In a police report, the 30-year-old singer was accused of tossing a seat from the establishment's roof down to the street underneath while the bar just before 11 p.m. Metro Nashville cops were standing before the bar and saw the seat hit the ground just feet from where they were standing, the report said


Officers who saw security film saw Wallen "jumping and tossing an item over the rooftop," the report said.


Witnesses said Wallen giggled a while later.


In a statement issued to the Tennessean by Wallen's representatives, Wallen's legal counselor, Worrick Robinson of Worrick Robinson Regulation, noted, "At 10:53 p.m. CT Sunday night, Morgan Wallen was arrested in midtown Nashville for reckless peril and disorderly lead. He is cooperating completely with authorities."


Morgan Wallen's history with Lower Broadway

Wallen has a history of spats with the law on Lower Broadway.


On May 24, 2020, Wallen was arrested for public intoxication and disorderly lead outside of Youngster Rock's honky-tonk in midtown Nashville.

In the arrest warrant, the Metro Nashville Police Division said Wallen got removed from Youngster Rock's Huge Ass Honky Tonk Rowdy Steakhouse at around 11 p.m. for "kicking glass items." On the street, police said he verbally battled with passersby while officers watched.


"Officers offered (Wallen) several opportunities to leave with his friends, however he refused to leave," Metro said at the time, taking note of that he was "a threat to himself and the general population."
